Unfortunately, no. The first season of 'Chad Powers' has only six episodes. Episode 6, titled “6TH QUARTER,” which premiered on September 20th/21st, marked the end of Season 1.
Season 2: What's the Word?
As of November 10th, Hulu hadn't officially renewed 'Chad Powers' for a second season. However, there's still hope! Co-creator Michael Waldron has mentioned that he and Glen Powell have ideas for three seasons. During an interview, Waldron confirmed that they're already brainstorming Season 2. So, if given the green light, Waldron, Powell, and the team would love to continue the story!
Waldron revealed, "We always intended to have a cliffhanger... and we’re working on it to try and make sure everything that happens next is good and fulfilling."
When Can We Expect Season 2?
Since there's no official renewal yet, there's no premiere date for Season 2. However, Waldron has indicated that they wouldn't want fans to wait too long. If Season 2 is approved promptly, fans could potentially see new episodes in 2026.
What Could Season 2 Be About?
Season 2 would likely continue to follow Russ/Chad's football journey. We'd find out the outcome of the big Season 1 finale game, see how Coach Hudson recovers, and, most importantly, explore the evolving dynamic between Ricky and Chad after the Season 1 finale's revelation.
Waldron shared, "If we’re lucky enough to get to make a Season 2, what’s clear is that whether she likes it or not, Ricky has been pulled into this conspiracy... It’s her, Russ, and Danny pulling off Chad Powers. And that’s a whole new, really fun dynamic. It’s gonna be a blast."
