Strictly Come Dancing: Semi-finalists Confirmed After Latest Elimination
The competition is heating up on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing 2025, with only four couples remaining after another elimination. The latest episode saw Lewis Cope and Katya Jones, former Emmerdale star and his professional partner, face the judges' decision alongside reality TV star Amber Davies and her dance partner, Nikita Kuzmin.
The judges' verdict: Cope, who delivered a salsa to Dance At The Gym from West Side Story, was sent home. This leaves Davies, who danced a Charleston to Sit Down You're Rockin' The Boat from Guys And Dolls, in the semi-finals alongside Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, and Karen Carney.
Cope expressed his gratitude for the experience, stating, 'It's been more than I could have ever wished for.' He praised his dance partner, Katya Jones, for her dedication and support, describing her as a 'gentleman' and a 'beautiful person.'
The semi-finalists will perform two new routines next weekend, with special performances from Australian singer Kylie Minogue and the boyband Five. The semi-final airs on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 18:35 GMT on Saturday, December 13, followed by the results show at 19:45 GMT on Sunday, December 14.
